I've been following your work for some time now. I'm thinking about changing majors from architecture to 3d design and animation. I just wanted to know if you work as a 3d designer and what your experience has been like in this field? Thanks for your time.
I am a designer but more specifically, I am a product designer with a full time position in a design consultancy. The work you see here are examples of things I do on the side, mostly for the fun of it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my job but I also like to experiment in areas that I don't get to during the day. We do design things in 3D and I apply a lot of what I've learned over the years in my personal work.
I don't know if I can really give you insight into 3D design as it applies to animation/entertainment. I can tell you that there are lot of great examples of inspiring work from talented artists out there. Also, I know a number of talented product designers that started out as architects.
